Research on a Modeling and Control Strategy for Interleaved Boost Converters with Coupled Inductors

Interleaved DC–DC converters have significant advantages in improving the capability of power converters, and coupling filtering inductor converter could further increase density. However, existing modeling controller designs are complex require multiple sensors to be involved control, which is not conducive engineering implementation reducing production costs. In view this problem, taking a two-phase interleaved boost with coupled as an example, small-signal models derived for resistive load constant voltage source using state averaging method. The total current engaged control feedback signal, avoiding effect on increasing complexity controller. Based this, double closed-loop designed, prototype built. Only one sensor required participate control. effectiveness analysis design paper verified by experiments.
